Maintenance/Range Safety Officer- Full Time in Orlando, Florida at SWK Management ll

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance/RSO to join our team at Shooters World Orlando. This role is crucial to ensuring the safe, clean, and efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the shooting range environment, performing routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently, solve problems, and keep the range in excellent working condition at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair targets, target systems, rubber upkeep, hanger placement and range tools and supplies, ensuring all shooting lanes are properly set up and operational for shooters.
• Monitor and maintain range cleanliness, including filtration systems, spent shell casings and debris, glass counters and windows as well as cleanliness of the customer lounge area.
• Troubleshoot, report and repair any malfunctioning shooting equipment or systems with management.
• Conduct regular safety checks and address any potential hazards immediately with management.
• Enforce range safety protocols and ensure that safety measures are strictly followed by all patrons.
• Deliver the World’s Greatest Firearm Experience
• Ensure unwavering control over the safety of all range guests and Shooters World team members by observing all users and respectfully, but immediately, addressing any behavior that could be considered unsafe
• Seamlessly execute all range safety processes
• Safely and effectively handle range rental and customer firearms
• Provide concise, and comprehensive range briefings to all range guests

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· HVAC experience or knowledge is preferred

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or experience is a plus.

· Required to pass background check, drug screening and regular health monitoring, may require respirator fit testing.
