The Sr. Licensing Specialist Position
SunStrong Management is searching for a Sr. Licensing Specialist to assist the
Licensing Team. This position supports the Compliance and Licensing Team to meet
SunStrong’s business expansion and growth, contributing to the company’s evolution.
The successful candidate will have precise attention to detail, a professional disposition
and intrinsic motivation. They will be an energized team member who can work cross-
functionally to define and execute on a vision for the business.

SunStrong Management is searching for a Sr. Licensing Specialist to assist the
Licensing Team. This position supports the Compliance and Licensing Team to meet
SunStrong’s business expansion and growth, contributing to the company’s evolution.
The successful candidate will have precise attention to detail, a professional disposition

functionally to define and execute on a vision for the business.
Sr. Licensing Specialist Responsibilities
- Assists team with Performance of Work (Home Improvement/Electrical Contractor) license portfolio.
- Works directly with relevant state and local authorities to maintain required licenses.
- Works closely with the business operations department to ensure field team is properly licensed including annual renewals and maintenance.
- Applies for and maintains local business licenses.
- Performs any other necessary duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree OR minimum of 4 years of Licensing experience
- Experience using Salesforce, Adobe, Docusign
- 4+ years of progressive experience in licensing, compliance and related function within a corporation or law firm
- Familiarity with laws and rules governing state-level licenses, permits, and registrations
- Notary public (must obtain if not held already)

- Strong collaboration, critical thinking, communication, interpersonal and writing skills
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, paired with a continuous improvement mindset to proactively identify and implement operational efficiencies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-track workflows, prioritize effectively, and meet regulatory deadlines.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to work as a team member and interact with other departments.
- Technically proficient and comfortable learning new tools and systems to improve legal and compliance operations.
