SALES DEPARTMENT DELVIERY COORDINATOR in New Haven, Connecticut at A-1 Auto Service Inc

The Sales Department Delivery Coordinator manages the customers delivery expectations and the vehicle handover process, acting as a liaison between the sales, finance, and service departments. They ensure all paperwork is finalized, the car is prepped, and the buyer is educated on the vehicle's features, thereby driving customer satisfaction and dealership loyalty

Core Responsibilities

• Paperwork Management: Verifies that all sales documentation, warranties, and financing (F&I) paperwork are completed, signed, and scanned to the central billing office.
• Vehicle Preparation: Supervises vehicle detailing and ensures any ordered accessories are properly installed and operational before the customer arrives.
• Customer Education: Personalizes the delivery by walking the customer through the vehicle's technology, settings, and safety features.
• Liaison & Scheduling: Coordinates with sales managers and service departments to schedule exact delivery times and resolve any funding or documentation delays

**Prior Automotive Experience is preferred

• Customer Service: A warm, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to provide a memorable "Apple Genius" style experience.
• Tech-Savviness: Deep understanding of modern vehicle software, digital interfaces, and dealership management software (DMS).
• Organization & Detail: Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple vehicle deliveries, paperwork tracks, and follow-ups daily
