Job Description
Docupace is seeking a Training Manager for a fully remote role reporting to the SVP, Client Success.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer. We are unable to sponsor or transfer visas for this role. This role does not support OPT or STEM OPT work authorization.
Role Summary
We’re looking for a forward-thinking Training Manager to lead the design and delivery transformation of learning experiences for our clients. In this role, you will own the client-facing Learning & Development, helping our clients get more value from Docupace through onboarding programs, ongoing education, certification paths, and self-service learning content. You'll partner closely with Client Success, Product, and Implementation teams to make sure every client — from a new user to a power user — has a clear path to platform proficiency.
You will play a pivotal role in driving product adoption, improving client satisfaction, and reducing support friction by delivering education that meets learners where they are—whether through asynchronous journeys, on-demand resources, or ad hoc strategic engagements.
Success in this role requires a strong grasp of how adults learn in today’s fast-paced, digital-first environment. You’ll innovate how we create, deliver, and maintain training content—using data, automation, and intuitive design to reduce maintenance and boost long-term engagement.
This high-visibility role is for someone who loves building training programs that directly move the needle on client adoption, satisfaction, and retention.
What You'll Do
- Design client learning journeys: Build structured onboarding curriculum and ongoing education programs for new and existing clients across different roles (advisors, operations staff, compliance, product admins).
- Develop training content: Create engaging materials — live webinars, on-demand video, step-by-step guides, job aids, and interactive walkthroughs — that reflect platform updates and best practices.
- Own the client LMS/training platform: Administer the learning management system used to deliver and track client training, including course structure, certifications, and completion reporting.
- Run live training sessions: Facilitate onboarding sessions, feature-adoption webinars, and office hours for clients, tailoring delivery to different audience sizes and technical comfort levels.
- Build feedback loops: Gather input from clients, Client Success Managers, and Support to identify training gaps and continuously refine content based on common questions, tickets, and adoption data.
- Partner cross-functionally: Work with Marketing and Product Management to ensure new features launch with ready-to-use training content.
- Measure impact: Track training completion rates and client satisfaction scores; correlate training engagement with adoption and retention metrics; report program effectiveness to leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, client education, or a related client-enablement function — ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or wealthtech environment.
- Proven experience designing training programs for external clients, not just internal employees.
- Strong instructional design skills: ability to translate complex product workflows into clear, digestible training content.
- Hands-on experience with an LMS or client education platform (e.g., Docebo or similar).
- Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating live sessions for groups ranging from a handful of users to large webinar audiences.
- Strong project management skills — able to juggle multiple training initiatives and product releases simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities and product features — and the training content that supports them — evolve quickly.
- Data-informed mindset: comfortable using completion rates, NPS/CSAT, and support ticket trends to prioritize training investments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, or working with broker-dealers/RIAs.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven industries where documented training/certification matters.
- Video editing or e-learning authoring tool experience (e.g., Articulate or similar).
- Experience building train-the-trainer programs from the ground up for Client Success or Support teams.
