SUMMARY

The ElderONE Business Development Specialist (BDS) is the initial and primary point of contact within the community and is responsible for the outreach, marketing and generation of new enrollments. The primary responsibility of the BDS is to cultivate referral sources to contribute to overall census growth for ILS. The BDS fully understand s all aspects of Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) and all services provided. The BDS establishes & maintains referring relationships to include but not limited to physicians, hospital personnel, religious organizations, senior care service providers, and senior housing. The BDS meets or exceeds all growth & development targets and actively establishes and maintains market awareness. The BDS represents ILS in a competent, professional and responsive manner and will work as part of an intake and assessment team to identify new referral sources, produce self-generated leads, generate enrollments and help increase utilization and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

•Utilizes best practice to leverage partners, marketing resources and other creative sources to generate leads.
•Develops marketing plans that include outreach, enrollment and utilization strategies
•Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating existing marketing plans and tactics; develops specific action plans based on the target market; Creates segment specific marketing and sales plans
•Maintains an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast. Adheres to best practices for task follow-up, lead generation, and documentation of all sales activity. Ensures all internal transition documents are completed to the highest level of accuracy in the appropriate timeframe
•Maintain or exceed established enrollment, enrollment conversion and close ratios
•Maintain and report accurate daily/weekly/monthly statistical records to track productivity; Maintain daily logs on activities, contacts and outcome; Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
•Sustains rapport with key referral sources and customer by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
•Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
•Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
•Provide information on health insurance programs and senior health services to the community
•Assist in the development and approval of ElderONE marketing materials evaluating marketing efforts and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
•Organize and conduct presentations about ElderONE to service area referral sources and communities
•Adhere to State and Federal regulations and policies regarding marketing practices
•Review marketing activity with Director as appropriate
•Conduct market research activities including selections of media and promotional items and determining target market areas to expand lead generation.
•Evaluates enrollment, utilization and retention efforts
Additional Responsibilities / Goals:
Represent ElderONE and RGHS at various community and health event
Provide lead support for outreach and community events
Give presentations regarding the ElderONE program to various groups throughout our service area.
Other duties as assigned

Desired Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or health care related field of study preferred.

  • Experience and excellence on public speaking

  • Three years of direct outreach/marketing/sales experience in the health care industry preferred

  • For ElderONE employment: 1 year experience with frail elderly population preferred

PAY RANGE: $63,000.00 - $80,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
