VP, Revenue Strategy and Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Revenue Strategy and Operations based in United States.

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused revenue leader to drive operational excellence across a global go-to-market organization.
This role will partner closely with executive leadership to shape revenue strategy, optimize performance, and accelerate scalable growth.
The position combines strategic planning, analytics, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to improve business outcomes.
You will lead key revenue functions, enhance processes, and leverage technology, automation, and AI to increase efficiency.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving forecasting accuracy, sales effectiveness, and long-term revenue performance.

Accountabilities:

The VP, Revenue Strategy and Operations will lead the development and execution of revenue strategies while building scalable systems, processes, and capabilities across the go-to-market organization. This role requires strong executive partnership, analytical expertise, and the ability to drive transformation initiatives across multiple teams.

  • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute go-to-market strategies across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Channel organizations.
  • Provide performance insights, business analysis, and strategic recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Identify growth opportunities and operational improvements to increase revenue, win rates, and customer expansion.
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning processes, including territory design, quota planning, headcount strategy, and capacity modeling.
  • Develop and optimize strategic frameworks such as sales methodologies and revenue execution models.
  • Build advanced analytics capabilities to identify performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead revenue operations functions, including forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and revenue acceleration programs.
  • Oversee sales enablement initiatives, including partner enablement and value management programs.
  • Manage and optimize the go-to-market technology ecosystem, including CRM, sales engagement platforms, BI tools, and forecasting solutions.
  • Drive automation and AI adoption to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and revenue predictability.
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, scenario planning, compensation strategy, and executive reporting.
  • Lead transformation initiatives related to segmentation, pricing strategy, and international growth.
  • Standardize global processes to improve consistency, scalability, and operational performance.
  • Build strong alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Partner teams.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced revenue operations executive with a strong background in enterprise SaaS environments. This role requires strategic vision, financial and analytical expertise, and proven success leading global teams and complex business transformations.

  • 12+ years of experience in Revenue Strategy, Revenue Operations, or related go-to-market leadership roles within enterprise SaaS organizations.
  • Previous VP or Director-level experience managing global or multi-regional teams.
  • Proven ability to influence C-level executives and board-level stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS and subscription business models, including ARR, MRR, churn, and LTV:CAC metrics.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with expertise in forecasting, planning, and scenario modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, business intelligence platforms, revenue intelligence tools, and forecasting systems.
  • Demonstrated success using AI, automation, and analytics to improve operational performance.
  • Experience building, scaling, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset with the ability to collaborate across global time zones.
  • Commitment to maintaining strong security and privacy practices, including adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
