  • Champion AI-augmented engineering practices by leveraging modern tools to accelerate development cycles, improve productivity, and enhance software quality.
  • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, collaboration, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, help teams make informed decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong technical depth, security awareness, and the ability to lead through collaboration. You should be comfortable working in complex environments where engineering excellence and mission impact are equally important.

  • Active U.S. Department of Defense security clearance required.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to project requirements and government customer access.
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience across multiple programming languages.
  • Strong experience with full-stack software development, including frontend and backend technologies.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Ruby, or Elixir.
  • Experience with frameworks and technologies including Spring Boot, React.js, Vue, or Redux.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, databases, design patterns, and scalable system design.
  • Hands-on experience with API development and Linux-based software environments.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD), agile methodologies, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools and workflows, including Git, GitLab CI, Concourse, SonarQube, Fortify, or ThreadFix.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a pair-programming environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning, solving challenging problems, and improving engineering practices.
  • Preferred experience includes mentoring engineers, leading development teams, working directly with clients, building cloud-native applications, or supporting government and defense software initiatives.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $168,993–$211,241, based on experience, qualifications, skills, and market alignment.
  • Fully remote work environment with a flexible schedule.
