- Lead end-to-end financial modeling for commercial partnerships, including pricing strategies, unit economics, incentive structures, ROI analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain driver-based forecasting models, monitor portfolio performance against key metrics, and identify opportunities to improve profitability, margins, and long-term growth.
- Partner closely with commercial, legal, revenue operations, accounting, and analytics teams to evaluate partnership opportunities, assess financial impacts, and support contract negotiations with data-driven recommendations.
- Design scalable financial templates, dashboards, reporting tools, and best practices that improve forecasting accuracy, streamline decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, financial reports, and business cases that clearly communicate complex analyses and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Continuously improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical frameworks while supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive sustainable business performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or another quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, or a similar analytical role supporting commercial growth initiatives.
- Advanced financial modeling skills using Excel and/or Google Sheets, including scenario analysis, driver-based forecasting, cohort analysis, and ROI modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and experience working with business intelligence platforms such as Looker or Tableau.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating commercial partnerships, pricing strategies, contract structures, and financial performance metrics.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with marketplace or retail partnerships, revenue recognition concepts, Python, dashboard automation, or advanced credentials such as an MBA, CFA, or CPA.
- Competitive compensation package, including a base salary of CAD $126,000–$133,000 (location and experience dependent).
