Avidex is on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Onsite Support Technician. In this role, you will collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 Support Technicians to troubleshoot and repair systems, including computers, servers, and hardware, ensuring seamless functionality for our esteemed clients.
Requirements:
- High School or GED diploma
- Physical ability to lift 30-40 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude to use tools like screwdrivers and drills
- Patience and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to work with non-technical individuals
- Comfortable working independently and maintaining a professional appearance while at client sites, including Mount Sinai Hospital
- Regular Part-Time role with flexibility for occasional schedule changes with short notice, including holidays and weekends
- Organized, proactive, and a problem-solver with a "Can Do” attitude, capable of managing multiple issues simultaneously
- Bondable, highly trustworthy, and dependable, with proven detail-oriented skills and superior work habits
- Availability to work 8 AM-8 PM Thursdays to Sunday, including holidays
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for Avidex products, offering hardware, software, and network assistance.
- Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 Support Technicians to troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment.
- Monitor the dashboard daily for IPTV and other Avidex products, ensuring optimal performance.
- Assist in the use of the Interactive platform, offering support for both patient education and entertainment products.
- Educate patients on the system's functionalities, empowering them to navigate and utilize it independently.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by responding promptly, keeping customers informed of resolution paths, and ensuring complete issue resolution.
