JOB SUMMARY

Assesses the clinical status of patients by identifying, assessing, and habilitating patients of all ages with auditory, vestibular, and related disorders to initiate a treatment process.

Education/Regulatory Requirements:

Mississippi Audiology License Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association

BLS/CPR certification required witin 14 days of hire.

Skills:

Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.

Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.

Ability to use scientific rules and methods to solve problems.

Ability to understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
