Our Registry Program has many options to choose from. Work at 1 or all 4 of our Hospitals: Community Hospital, St. Catherine Hospital, St. Mary Medical Center, Powers Health Rehabilitation Center.

The registered nurse is responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees. The nurse practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy of Powers Health.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently holds an unencumbered license as a professional nurse by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• A BSN degree is desirable.
• Successful completion of the Powers Health Personnel and Nursing Orientation Programs.
• Obtains and maintains current certification in BLS, and other certifications as required in specialty areas.
• Minimum 2-years of current acute care hospital experience in credentialed area required.

Current employed Staff RN's are not eligible to transfer into the Registry Program. (new hires & re-hires only)
