Pay Range: $36.69-$48.10*
CHMC-Hemo/Chron RN-Full Time-Day Shift-6a-4p-Requisition 7547
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving dialysis in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Strong emphasis on psychological support through patient teaching and interpersonal communication. This nurse interacts with a population of chronically ill, long-tem patients and must perform technical skills repeatedly with scrupulous attention to detail. Patience and a sense of humor are critical to patient/staff relationships. On-Call rotation will be required.
Qualifications:
Current N.Y.S RN license
Mini-EKG course preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge of growth & development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.
Must maintain current BLS certification.
One (1) year previous Critical Care or Med/Surg nursing experience preferred. 18 months experience in nursing care of patients receiving maintenance dialysis preferred.
