The City of Lake Forest is seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Analyst to join the Human Resources division in the City Manager’s Office. This position will perform a wide range of Human Resources functions including recruitment, classification & compensation, leave management, and special projects. Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded Human Resources professional who:
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and sound judgment
- Has experience in recruitment, classification/compensation, and benefits
- Communicates effectively and builds strong working relationships
- Is comfortable advising departments and managing complex issues
- Previous California municipal experience is desirable.
- Familiarity with Human Resources Information System platforms such as ADP and NEOGOV is desirable.
Qualifications:
A typical way to obtain the qualification to perform the duties of this classification is as follows:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field and two years of professional experience in administrative and management analysis; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
