Infection Preventionist / Nurse Manager (RN) – Senior Living

Mountain Vista Senior Living is hiring an Infection Preventionist / Nurse Manager (RN) to lead infection prevention initiatives while overseeing clinical operations and ensuring high-quality resident care within our community. What You’ll Do

  • Lead and oversee the infection prevention and control program across the community
  • Monitor infection trends and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility infection control standards
  • Coordinate immunization tracking, reporting, and verification
  • Educate and train staff on infection prevention practices and protocols
  • Oversee and direct the delivery of high-quality clinical care and services
  • Supervise daily nursing activities and support clinical staff across all shifts
  • Promote residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership teams to support safe clinical operations
  • Implement procedures aligned with state and federal regulations and best practices
  • Lead by example in supporting the mission and values of the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Active RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical and supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • At least 1 year of experience in infection prevention or infection control preferred
  • Strong understanding of infection prevention standards and regulations
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Geriatric care experience strongly preferred
  • Experience educating and mentoring clinical staff
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to leadership
