Work hours: Full time, 8:30am-5:30pm - Some local travel may be required

• Master's Degree Counseling or Social Work required
• 1 Year of healthcare related Counseling or Social Work Required
• 4 Years of healthcare related Counseling or Social Work Preferred
• LMSW - Licensed Master Social Worker Upon Hire Req Or
• LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker Upon Hire Req Or
• LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Req O
• LMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Upon Hire Req Or
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Req And
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 Days Req And
• AHAFA - American Heart Association First Aid Certification maintained annually 90 Days Req
What You Will Do
Leadership/Clinical Leadership
• Leads the Virtual Reality (VR) program with full accountability for implementation, daily operations, and outcomes.
• Ensures VR sessions are conducted safely, consistently, and according to established clinical workflows.
• Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all VR-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and staff support.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets VR utilization and outcome data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Presents VR data, findings, and recommendations to leadership and interdisciplinary teams to support decision-making.
• Trains and mentors' staff on VR technology, clinical applications, and best practices to promote program adoption and sustainability.
• Partners with leadership to expand or refine VR offerings based on patient needs, departmental goals, and emerging evidence.
• Maintains all VR equipment, software, and documentation to ensure readiness, safety, and compliance.
• Escalates issues to appropriate level of leadership and coordinates mitigation activities as needed
• Resolves daily staffing issues, seeking assistance from leadership as needed
• Serves as a role model/mentor for staff in the areas of professional development, professional practice, and continuing education.
• Initiates and conducts meetings as appropriate.
• Seeks opportunities for self-development in leadership.
• Integrate team-building strategies and principles of group processes in interactions with staff.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with all customer groups (staff, physicians, patients, family, external customers) to determine customer expectations.
• Assists leadership to remedy actual vs. expected customer satisfaction performance gaps as needed 20%
• Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy and counseling utilizing modalities consistent with the facility philosophy.
• Conducts unstructured individual, family, and group therapy as scheduled or ordered by physician to address goals identified on patient treatment plan.
• Provides didactic group therapy as scheduled and assigned.
• Adapts treatment to reflect age-specific, developmental and cultural considerations.
• Demonstrates competence with adolescent treatment.
• Demonstrates competency with cognitive behavioral therapy.
• Effective individual, family, and group therapy provided in a timely manner meeting group therapy baseline competency elements
• Documentation of therapies provided is clear, concise and reflective of required level of clinical expertise.
• Patient goals for treatment and progress towards goals reflected in documentation.
• Groups planned, delivered, and documented in a timely and effective manner meeting patient's goals for treatment
• Knowledge of CBT and other appropriate brief therapies and interventions evident
• Knowledge of age-specific and cultural-specific dynamics demonstrated
• Other duties as assigned
