Position Summary
The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the Payroll Department and ensuring that the biweekly payroll is timely and accurate.
Job Duties
- Supervise Payroll Specialists
- Insure production of bi-weekly payroll within established time frames
- Prepare payroll tax reports for KidsPeace and all subsidiaries
- Establish payroll requirements and procedures for new locations
- Work with or become the Project Manager on various projects involving payroll
- Responsible for maintaining the ADP Timekeeping system
- Responsible for maintaining Lawson Payroll application
- Create and maintain various financial reports using Excel, Lawson and/or ADP
- Responsible for any year-end preparations involving payroll
- Work with HR to ensure data integrity
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a payroll position
- Experience in multi-state payroll
- Experience in Lawson, ADP Enterprise Timekeeping, BSI Tax Solution
Compensation
Salary starts at $65,000
