Job Description

We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses who are dedicated to providing thoughtful, respectful care to individuals and their families. In this role, you’ll lead members of the healthcare team to ensure excellence in nursing practice and the delivery of patient care. You’ll oversee patient care provided by assigned nursing staff, ensure individualized care plans are created and followed, and use your clinical judgment with confidence and autonomy within established care guidelines.

Patient Care & Treatment

Offer holistic and patient-centered nursing care, focusing on the unique needs of individuals and their families with a positive and respectful approach that aligns with the hospital's values. Emphasize support, clear education, and collaborative decision-making to foster a positive care experience.

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver patient-focused services and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients while contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in California

• 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing or Medical-Surgical Nursing preferred

• Minimum of 1 year MDS completion preferred

• Satisfactory completion of a Pharmacology test with a minimum score of 80%

• BLS certification required and maintained

• ACLS certification required within 6 months and maintained

• Must take and pass an Arrhythmia Recognition class within 6 months of employment or show proof of competency

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

• Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, and coworkers

• Ability to provide RN leadership consistent with the policies, goals, and mission of RRH

• Must have received an above-standard evaluation at RRH or previous employer within the past year
