Position Summary:

As a Data Insights Intern, you will act as a key support function between business stakeholders and the data team, helping translate day-to-day business questions into structured data requests and reporting outputs. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to how data drives strategic decision-making across a fast-paced logistics organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering, clarifying, and organizing data requests from cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.) Support the intake and tracking of reporting requests, helping prioritize based on urgency and business impact Partner with the data team to build QA reports, dashboards, and recurring deliverables Help maintain a centralized library of available reports, dashboards, and data sources Assist in preparing data-driven presentations, including PowerPoints and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) Work closely with team members to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in reporting outputs Help translate basic business questions into structured data requirements Identify opportunities to streamline or automate recurring reports and processes Shadow team members in stakeholder conversations to understand how data solutions are scoped and delivered Support data quality checks and validation efforts across multiple data sources

Education/Experience:

Pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related fieldFamiliarity with data visualization concepts or tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)Interest in logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries
