About the Role:

Performs registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry, collection of co-pays and medical records functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry, collection of co-pays and medical records functions.
• Optimizes facility and professional collections. Process referrals.

• Processes release of medical records information.

• Answers telephone inquiries.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate's degree preferred
• Experience: 1 - 3 years of associated experience. Prefer two years of experience in professional or hospital billing.

Salary range $18 to $22/hr, dependent on experience and internal equity.
