As a Language and Literacy Associate (LLA) you will work closely to provide assigned regional sales representatives with a variety of pre- and post- sales-related support for existing and potential K-12 customers. This includes but is not limited to managing service-related requests, presentation preparations, account administration and other related administrative tasks. You will also work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure that alignment between your activities and the team/departmental goals to maximize sales impact on customer satisfaction and success. We are a growth-minded organization, and this role is on the front lines learning about and partnering with our education customers to have a positive impact on their students and administrators.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: Assist with the development and design of customized sales collateral and strategic materials, including presentation decks, interactive proposals, and tailored documentation. Conduct proactive prospecting and lead-generation projects to support sales growth initiatives. Assist in the development and coordination of customer training, professional development, and sales presentations. Serve as the primary customer contact during sales representatives’ absences, ensuring continuity of service and support. Facilitate and track all interoperability and integration requests and launches via the appropriate systems (e.g., RA/Clever), ensuring timely execution and communication. Collaborate with the Alta Vista Sales Support (AVSS) team to coordinate and monitor the progress of assigned projects. Assist sales team with building and maintaining custom sites for customers, as needed. Provide data usage and reporting insights upon request to help customers track engagement and outcomes. Manage print sample requests, generate quotes, enable online trial access, and route customer forms. Generate and process purchase orders, requisitions, check requests, and other financial documentation. Support assigned sales representatives’ participation in conferences and meetings as needed, including logistical planning and materials preparation. YOU MUST HAVE (MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE) Bachelor’s degree minimum 3+ years’ experience in sales support, account management or complex customer relations or support role Strong background in managing client needs, ensuring satisfaction, and handling multiple client-facing requests. Experience in or knowledge of the K-12 or Higher Ed publishing, ed-tech, language learning or similar education market trends. Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, active listening and relationship building skills. Experience assisting with the development and design of customized sales collateral and strategic materials, such as presentation decks, interactive proposals, and tailored documentation. Excellent attention to detail, organization, time-management and follow through skills. Experience with CRM systems, sales documentation, and purchase order processing. Strong technology orientation, proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and navigating digital tools for communication and productivity Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to meetings and events.
