Reimbursement Specialist - Bilingual - French

Accountabilities:
  • Act as a key resource and team lead for reimbursement specialists by providing guidance, operational support, and knowledge sharing across the program.
  • Coordinate all activities related to obtaining prescription drug coverage for patients through private, public, and federal reimbursement programs.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers, physician offices, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement opportunities and ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Manage documentation, submissions, financial assessments, and reimbursement paperwork while ensuring compliance with program procedures and timelines.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of reimbursement processes, protocols, and departmental KPIs in collaboration with leadership teams.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics, evaluate reimbursement workflows, and provide reporting insights to management.
  • Assist with scheduling coordination, shift coverage, and day-to-day operational continuity within the reimbursement team.
  • Report adverse events according to established procedures and contribute to special projects and additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, insurance, or patient support program environments.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, is required.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement programs, insurance processes, and prescription drug coverage systems.
  • Postsecondary degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines consistently, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management experience and customer service experience are considered strong assets.
