This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Field Service Representative in Canada.

This role sits at the heart of critical healthcare technology support, ensuring advanced medical imaging systems operate reliably in clinical environments. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and upgrade of key diagnostic equipment, with a strong focus on CT and X-ray modalities. Acting as a trusted technical expert in the field, you will respond to service requests, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure minimal downtime for healthcare providers. The position involves close coordination with a centralized service team, while also requiring autonomy in managing on-site interventions. You will play a direct role in supporting patient care by keeping essential imaging systems fully operational. This is a hands-on, fast-paced field role that combines technical depth, customer interaction, and problem-solving in real-world medical environments.

Accountabilities
  • Execute installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and upgrades of medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability in the field.
  • Respond to service assignments coordinated through the Customer Care Centre, following defined procedures and escalation pathways when required.
  • Provide technical support across CT and X-ray modalities while assisting with additional product lines under supervision when needed.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including reporting of interventions, tool usage, customer issues, and escalation cases.
  • Collaborate with regional and central support teams, escalating technical incidents according to established protocols and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and technical guidelines while working on customer sites.
Requirements
  • Technical diploma or equivalent training in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in field service, medical device maintenance, or healthcare technology support.
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging systems; experience with CT and X-ray modalities is a strong advantage.
  • Solid troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clinical and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment while managing multiple service requests.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training or service needs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a strong sense of accountability.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Defined contribution pension plan and RRSP matching contributions.
  • Paid time off including vacation, holidays, sick leave, and parental leave (eligibility-based).
  • Ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
  • Exposure to advanced medical technologies and global service operations.
  • Flexible and supportive work environment focused on growth and inclusion.
