Registered Nurse (RN) and a national certification to be obtained within 1 year of hire and maintained throughout employment in this job title. This national certification will require approval by nursing leadership.
Physical Requirements
The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.
Shift
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. May require some holidays.
Job Summary
Population Health is actively seeking a committed Nurse Manager to efficiently lead and manage remote clinical personnel. This role is responsible for supervising, recruiting, and training the remote clinical team while ensuring comprehensive evaluations. The Nurse Manager is responsible for creating work schedules, updating job descriptions, executing strategies for staff and program growth, and setting and achieving customer service objectives for clinical staff. Will advocate for continuing education by promoting and implementing development opportunities. Creating and maintaining strong relationships across departments and with medical staff is essential. By collaborating closely with the practice manager, the Nurse Manager will enforce compliance with all policies and procedures, oversee patient care, and ensure adherence to approved nursing practices and standards. In situations where necessary, provide hands-on nursing care. Aligned with the practice manager, will validate the clinical competency of staff. This will involve not only ensuring adherence to established standards, but also facilitating training and skill development to elevate clinical support for the patient care team.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN, hold a BSN, and have leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have excellent conflict resolution skills.
