Onsite is a therapeutic retreat center with a 40-year history of healing and is nestled on a beautiful 250-acre campus in the rolling hills just outside of Nashville. We are currently looking for a Café Barista for our bespoke Green House Café, a place of solace, peace and delicious coffee and pastry creations. ABOUT THE DAY-TO-DAY IN THIS ROLE:

Shift: 6am-2:30pm Friday - Tuesday

· This role is client-facing and you’ll be responsible for delivering exemplary customer service daily in our café.

· You’ll be responsible for creating coffee, espresso, tea and handmade mochas, lattes, iced beverages and more.

· You’ll be responsible for inventory, cleaning and maintaining the café, running the café register, and must be able to maintain cash handling protocols.

· We are looking for an optimistic, eager, independent, and creative barista who is familiar with the various equipment (including high-end espresso machines) and is a great communicator

· Must be familiar with safety, health and sanitation requirements

IDEAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:

We are open to candidates of all backgrounds, experience and education levels. After all, years of experience is just a number. That said, we believe that candidates with the following backgrounds will be well-suited to succeed in this role:

· High school graduate or equivalent preferred, ideally 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred

· Experience in a coffeehouse, café, and high-end foodservice organization necessary

· Highly collaborative food service professional
