Health & Nutrition Manager at TRI-COUNTY COMMUNITY ACT ION INC – Little Falls, Minnesota

Summary:

Provides early childhood health/nutrition services and education to the children and families we serve. Monitors and implements comprehensive health, dental, environmental safety programs for children and their families. Works with families to provide education on the importance of Well Child Check Ups and preventative practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field or bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
• Two or more years of professional level experience working with children and families in Health Services, preferably in a Head Start/Early Head Start environment.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and be able to provide work directions to staff in the areas of physical health, oral health and mental health.
• Other credentials that would be beneficial include Certified Lactation Consultant, CTC Trained, etc.
