Occupation Therapist Asst-HH&H at Parkview Health – Fort Wayne, Indiana

Administers occupational therapy treatments to patients as delegated by the occupational therapist, such as therapeutic exercises; therapeutic activities; ADL & IADL training; neuromuscular re-education; functional training; modalities; and splinting. Reports problems and / or need to update the goals and plan of care to the supervising occupational therapists. Maintains proper records and reports.

Must have an Associate’s Degree as an Occupational Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Must be certified as an Occupational Therapist Assistant, to practice in the state of Indiana, or be eligible for licensure. Must have a valid state driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance. Must have current CPR certification.

At least one year experience in a clinical setting related to the departmental scope of service provided. In lieu of previous work experience, verification of supervised clinical experience as a Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Must be willing to travel within the workday and be willing to make home visits. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
