Construction Project Manager in East Northport, New York at Island Pump & Tank

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction site, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety

• Oversee multiple projects from initiation to completion

• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals and procedures

• Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents/ scope

• Reports the status of projects to business and market leaders

• Travel to out-of-town job sites as needed

• Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices and submittals

• Attend client meetings as needed

• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and keep projects on schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Construction Project Manager

• Exceptional Telephone Skills

• Customer Service Attitude

• Proficient with Windows based computers

• Solid Written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Etc.) and Microsoft Project

• NYC Construction Superintendent License is a plus but not mandatory

• Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays

• Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems

• High school diploma or equivalent
