Construction Manager – OSP Telecommunications in Totowa, New Jersey at METRO R F SERVICES INC

Metro RF is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (CM) to join our team based out of our New Jersey office.

This is a hands-on field leadership position supporting telecom construction projects throughout the region and other markets as needed. Extended travel is a requirement of this position, and candidates must have solid OSP construction experience.

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in OSP telecommunications construction
• Experience managing underground and aerial fiber projects
• Knowledge of trenching, directional drilling, conduit placement, fiber installation, restoration, and related OSP activities
• Ability to manage crews and subcontractors in the field
• Coordinate schedules, materials, equipment, permitting, and customer requirements
• Track production, job progress, closeouts, and project documentation
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Communicate effectively with customers, field crews, subcontractors, and internal management
• Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods, including multi-week project assignments when required
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in an active construction environment

This is not a remote position. The CM will be based out of MetroRF's New Jersey operation but must be available to deploy wherever our projects require experienced field leadership.

We’re looking for someone who understands OSP construction, knows how to keep projects moving, and is comfortable taking ownership of work in the field.
