Staff Nurse [Birthing Center/NICU] at Liberty Hospital – Liberty, Missouri

SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of professional nursing services which will address the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family. Accountable for the care of patients within an assigned unit, and coordinates care planning with other disciplines

As a member of our clinical care team, you will have the opportunity to work with your Nurse Manager to identify career development opportunities including (but not limited to), championing quality initiatives, participating in committees, and training to charge and/or precept.

Required Education/Training: Graduate from a nursing program
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire/transfer; NRP upon completion of orientation

Preferred Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Recent OB experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Maternal/Newborn nursing (RNC-MNN); Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB); Low-risk neonatal (RNC-LRN); Lactation (IBCLC); STABLE
