Perioperative Aide at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

Crouse’s Madison Irveing Surgery Center team is hiring a Per Diem Perioperative Aide.

Pay Range: $15.50 - $22.70/hourly

Available Schedule(s): Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm, other shifts required as needed

Perioperative Aide Position Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance with patient transport.
• Assists with room turnovers.
• Performing daily terminal cleaning of all surgical suites/sub-sterile and scrub areas.
• Equipment and specimen transport throughout the hospital and neighboring locations.
• Delivery/retrieval of equipment and supplies.

Perioperative Aide Position Requirements:

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date.
• This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
