Job Title: Canadian Sales Manager (Salary $100,000 to $150,000)
Only Candidates that come from Tubular Steel Sales background will be considered.
ONLY CANADIANS to be considered.
Location: Alberta, Travel Canada Based. A minimum of 50% travel is expected.

Job Summary

Taking direction from and reporting to the Vice President, this role involves the coordination of all Business Development activities. The Sales Manager will be responsible for engaging with clients, promoting our product mix, and driving sales growth. This self-motivated individual is a team player with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Additionally, they should possess strong technical knowledge, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow business in assigned territories.
  • Identify and pursue new leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
  • Provide technical product knowledge and support to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, and customer service) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales activities and forecasts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Business Development in steel, industrial products, or a related field.
  • Ability to deal with Major businesses and C-Suite Stake Holders
  • Strong knowledge of steel pipes, fabrication, or industrial manufacturing is an asset.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license
