Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time Day) Long Branch, NJ at RWJBarnabas Health – Long Branch, New Jersey

Job Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician assists in the provision of pharmaceutical services under the direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist by performing the technical, clerical, and manipulative tasks involved in dispensing, preparing, and distributing all medications and pharmaceutical products for all patient age groups and maintaining statistical records. The position is also responsible for identifying and reporting hazardous environments or safety issues and medical errors to appropriate personnel. The position is also responsible for any other assigned tasks, as appropriate. New Jersey registered or registration eligible. One year previous pharmacy experience in hospital setting preferred, and or pharmacy technician training course. PTCB certification preferred.

Qualifications:

Required:

• New Jersey registered or registration eligible,
• One year previous pharmacy experience in hospital setting preferred, and or pharmacy technician training course

Preferred:

• PTCB certification preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

• Day Shift
• Full-Time schedule
• 40 hours weekly

Essential Functions:
