Job Title: B2B Marketing Specialist

Location: Hybrid (3 days in Markham, ON office) - with occasional local travel

About the Role:
As the B2B Marketing Specialist, you will drive both in-store and out-of-store trade marketing efforts across key retail channels and field marketing opportunities. You will manage trade promotions, retailer and partner engagement, and lead experiential activations and events that bring the brand to life. This hybrid role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring our marketing efforts are aligned across all customer touchpoints — online, in-store, and in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Marketing & Channel Activation

  • Maintain and execute the trade marketing activities calendar, aligning with sales and brand teams on product launches, seasonal campaigns, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the digital and web teams to launch seamless omnichannel promotions that improve customer experience and drive conversion.
  • Analyze sales performance and promotional ROI; deliver insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage marketing relationships with key manufacturers, vendors, and compliance teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
  • Support the loyalty program and dissemination of updated marketing assets across channels.
  • Support with budgeting, POSM logistics, sample distribution, and in-store trade marketing activity execution.

Field Marketing & Event Execution

  • Identify and plan relevant events, conferences, trade shows, and local activations aligned with business objectives.
  • Handle full event logistics: budgeting, staffing, booth setup, collateral, and post-event ROI reporting.
  • Support Brand Ambassador planning and shift scheduling.
  • Lead local market activations with tailored content and incentives for our B2B retail customers and or end consumers
  • Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and internal teams to create impactful experiential marketing moments.

Marketing Content & Collateral

  • Coordinate with creative and brand teams to ensure high-quality, on-brand promotional materials for both field and trade environments.
  • Customize content for partner channels to ensure relevance and engagement at the regional level.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Brand, Product, and Compliance teams to synchronize campaigns across the marketing funnel.
  • Provide field insights back to HQ to inform broader strategies and campaign development.

Analytics & Market Research

  • Regularly report on promotional and event performance, channel engagement, and market trends.
  • Conduct competitive research and stay up to date with innovations in trade and field marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or B2B channel marketing roles.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and communication abilities.
  • Comfortable with travel (up to 50%) across Canada if needed
  • Naturally curious, trend-aware, and energized by cross-functional teamwork.
