In the role of Housekeeper you will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Department by performing tasks to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of residential units and common areas within the Academy Mapleton Hill community (AMH).

Shift

Depending on the availability of the candidate and needs at the time of application, could be part-time or full-time.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned areas
• Accountable for all aspects of cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
• Follows Academy Mapleton Hill protocol for cleaning
• Works with a team of housekeeping and maintenance staff to complete projects and tasks
• Communicates with supervisor and other staff regarding equipment status and malfunctions
• Performs basic repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing lightbulbs or unclogging drains
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth operation of facility
• Maintains the organization and inventory of supplies and restocking as needed
• Following all health and safety protocols, including proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures
• Responding to requests and concerns from residents, employees and guests
• Adheres to a schedule of regular cleaning and maintenance tasks
