Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and recruiting top talent to meet the staffing needs of our national healthcare company. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of recruitment processes, particularly in the context of multi-state recruiting and sourcing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for healthcare positions across multiple states through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure their qualifications and fit for the position and company culture, while also considering any state-specific licensing or certification requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for healthcare positions, including job postings, candidate engagement, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners to ensure a positive recruitment experience for all parties involved, while also ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs across different states and develop tailored recruitment plans to meet those needs, considering regional variations in talent availability and market conditions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition and recruitment in the healthcare sector, particularly in a multi-state context.
- Utilize data and analytics to track recruitment metrics and continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
- Assist with other HR-related tasks and projects as needed, including workforce planning, employer branding, and diversity recruiting initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, with a focus on sourcing and recruiting for healthcare positions across multiple states.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and recruiting candidates for healthcare roles, including clinical and non-clinical positions, while navigating state-specific licensing and certification requirements.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including candidate sourcing, assessment, and selection techniques, in a multi-state context.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across different states and regions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, while also ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS), with experience in leveraging technology to streamline recruitment processes.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
