PATIENT CARE TECH - *CNA & Phlebotomy Certification Required at Sinai Chicago – Chicago, Illinois

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs a variety of functions in the clinical setting.

** Please note: CNA and Phlebotomy Certification is Required

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Provide direct patient care, performs phlebotomy and EKG’s.

Collaborate with and work under the direction of the registered nurse to provide appropriate and safe patient care.

Utilize the Hospital information system to order diagnostic tests and therapies and obtain patient information and test results.

Support the Mission, Vision, and Values of the hospital.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• High School Graduate
• BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (LIVE session only)
• Certified Nurse Assistant Certification Required
• Phlebotomy Training / Certificate Required
• EKG training and/or Certificate preferred
• Compliant with PPD requirements
