Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3x12. Day shift. No weekends. Current shifts available: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7a–7p.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Assist with patient prep, positioning, and monitoring during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and apply surgical sterilization techniques
• Identify, handle, and care for surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Obtain detailed patient histories, and provide excellent patient care and monitoring
• Perform proficient venipuncture
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture

What You Bring

• 2+ years of veterinary medicine experience preferred
• Surgical assistance experience highly preferred, including patient prep, positioning, and monitoring during procedures
• Experience with surgical sterilization techniques and maintaining a sterile field, plus familiarity with surgical instrument identification, handling, and care
• Strong attention to detail in high-pressure surgical settings, with the ability to multitask and think critically on your feet
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care, with the ability to remain composed during stressful and emotional situations
