Wage Range: $48.66 - $77.84 per hour
Evergreen Health is interested in connecting with motivated Hand Therapists for future opportunities within our Outpatient Therapy team. Our therapy services are based in the DeYoung Pavilion across from Evergreens main campus in Kirkland, with an additional satellite clinic in Kenmore and Monroe Washington.
We welcome interest from Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) as well as therapists who are actively working toward certification. Our outpatient practice is dynamic and collaborative, requiring flexibility, strong attention to detail, effective multitasking, and excellent clinical judgment.
Our hand therapy team works closely with referring hand and orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of upper extremity conditions, including tendon and ligament injuries, fractures, peripheral nerve injuries, repetitive strain injuries, arthritis, and Dupuytrens contracture. Services may include post-operative rehabilitation, custom orthotic fabrication, joint mobilization, manual therapy, edema management, therapeutic modalities, taping techniques, wound and scar management, and range-of-motion and strengthening programs.

Primary Duties:
- Provides evidence-based assessment and treatment plans designed to optimize functional outcomes for patients with upper extremity conditions.
- Develops attainable treatment goals in coordination with the interdisciplinary team that promote functional abilities in patients with upper extremity injuries.
- Accountable for following the guidelines for attendance, punctuality and overall dependability. Accountable for effective performance and follow-through of all assigned responsibilities and for completing responsibilities within designated (or agreed upon) timeframes. Completes responsibilities in a manner consistent with organizational policy, goals and values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Washington
- Baccalaureate, Master's Degree, or certificate in Occupational Therapy
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
- Knowledge and training in the special needs of patients from young adult to geriatric ages.
- Membership in a professional organization
