Our mission is to ignite the power and promise of youth and close the mentoring gap by creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships and strengthening the quality of the mentoring field.

JOB DESCRIPTION

BBBSI seeks a Director of Corporate Relations & Sponsorships. This position reports to the Vice President, Advancement and is responsible for maintaining and growing a sustaining corporate donor portfolio exceeding $1.5 million, including workplace program partners, workplace giving entities, corporate sponsors for all signature events, and related fundraising initiatives. The Director will serve as a senior advancement leader, working across the organization to drive new revenue, increase donor engagement, and strengthen long-term corporate partnerships.

Candidates with a strong connection to the community that BBBSI serves and the Southeastern Pennsylvania/Southern New Jersey area receive preferential consideration. Moderate travel to branch offices, community and corporate partners is required, as is some nights and weekend work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership, Management, Accountability (30%)

Advance the mission and vision of the Agency, ensuring integration through donor campaigns and events within area of responsibility.

Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners across school-based, community-based, workplace mentoring, and other identified programs as appropriate.

Steward local business and corporate partnerships and other stakeholders, building relationships that closely link the community with the Agency and serving as an exemplary Agency advocate.

Identify sponsorship prospects and maintain accurate records in the donor database.

Provide strategic leadership and direction for corporate fundraising initiatives in partnership with the Vice President, Advancement.

Lead and manage the Corporate Relations Sponsorship Coordinator.

Fundraising (70%)

Maintain and grow a dynamic portfolio of sustaining corporate donors and sponsors, raising at least $1.5 million annually.

Develop and execute annual corporate fundraising plans and budgets aligned with agency goals.

Write, submit, and steward sponsorship proposals and other corporate funding requests.

Ensure fulfillment of all sponsorship deliverables, reporting requirements, and compliance standards.

Maintain assigned Indyforce (Salesforce platform) records and campaigns.

Collaborate closely with Events, Marketing, Programs, and Finance to identify and secure events sponsorships, maximize impact and revenue growth.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Academic Requirements: Bachelor (preferred) or comparable experience

Professional Requirements

Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive advancement and corporate fundraising experience, preferably in a human services or nonprofit environment. Demonstrated success cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate donors and sponsors. Strong working knowledge of moves management and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Ability to work collaboratively across teams while independently managing priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Additional Requirements

Daily and dependable access to a vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and state-required automobile insurance.
