Job Description

Summary

The Manager of Partnerships, Outreach and Individual Giving is responsible for building and strengthening relationships between St. Clair Health and the community—particularly with corporate partners, local businesses, and key stakeholders. This role leads to strategic outreach initiatives that enhance the organization’s visibility, expand its network of supporters, and create mutually beneficial partnerships that advance our mission and goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in community relations, corporate partnership management, or business development, preferably within a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
  • Proven record of securing and managing successful corporate partnerships.
  • Excellent written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Passion for community impact and the mission of St Clair Health

Essential Functions

Strategic Relationship Building

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate partners and community organizations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage partners through sponsorships, volunteer programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at community events, business forums, and networking opportunities to increase awareness and support.
  • Program and Partnership Development

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate partner involvement into ongoing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage the Gallery One Art Program. Schedule and approve new artists. Collaborate with artists to hang their display. Grow the program through traditional and digital communication.
  • Communications and Reporting

  • Serve as the primary liaison between community partners and internal departments to ensure consistent communication and project success.
  • Maintains database of donor information using CRM platform.
  • Receives and records contributions and completes the acknowledgement process in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Oversee day-to-day CRM operations, including gift processing, donor record maintenance, and generating reports to support fundraising and outreach initiatives.
  • Manage all internal grant requests and disbursements from temporarily restricted funds ensuring all guidelines are met and funds are used appropriately.
  • Manages donations and sponsorships aligned with St. Clair Health community benefits initiatives.
  • Leads annual appeals and other donor mailings.
  • Work closely with the marketing and communications team to highlight partnership achievements through media, social channels, and newsletters.
  • Leadership and Collaboration

  • Supervise outreach to staff, interns, and volunteers as needed.
  • Manage all internal grant requests and disbursements from temporarily restricted funds ensuring all guidelines are met and funds are used appropriately.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align community outreach strategies with organizational priorities.
  • Support annual fundraising and community engagement goals through creative partnership initiatives.
