Key Responsibilities

• Lead Hand Work Team, Supervise staff.
• Execute production plan to meet daily output and on-time delivery goals
• Coordinate with upstream (press) and downstream (shipping/finishing) departments
• Ensure efficient workflow across all hand operations including:
• Hand collating
• Hand coiling
• Hand stitching / inserting
• Shrink wrapping / packaging
• Hand applied line sheets
• Hand folding
• Book block separation
• Ensure all work meets customer specifications and quality standards
• Perform in-process checks and final inspections
• Address defects immediately and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accountability for accuracy of counts, collation, and finishing

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of leading people, be able to show this in work history
• Assure production needs are met on your shift.
• Work alongside the team, you will be expected to be helping production.
• Be able to stand for 8 – 10 hours and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and work instructions
• Leadership and team coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
