We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician, who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform basic approved testing procedures, including routine screening tasks.
- Prepare samples and materials for secure and accurate transport.
- Conduct testing and analytical procedures in accordance with established organizational protocols.
- Follow all safety and compliance guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of potentially hazardous materials, and adhere to standard precautions to reduce risk of exposure.
- Provide required evaluations, documentation, and reporting in alignment with applicable program or organizational guidelines.
- Complete all mandatory annual training, including (but not limited to) emergency preparedness, safety compliance, harassment prevention, infection control, and hazardous materials awareness.
- Maintain clear,accurate, and concise documentation related to services provided.
- Use and navigate automated systems and software platforms (such as electronic information or case management systems) to support daily operations.
Requirements:
- Education/Degree: Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate & completion of a NAACLS Accredited or two-part Phlebotomy Program
- Experience: Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years performing venipunctures and finger-sticks on patients from pediatric to geriatric.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA preferred or client specific)
- Additional Requirements: Provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two (2) years attesting to clinical skills. At least one (1) letter must be from a physician or supervisor who has personally observed and evaluated the candidate and can attest to the candidate’s clinical skills
