Dental Hygienist at Fidalgo Island Dental - Anacortes – Anacortes, Washington

Full Time- Part Time - Flexible Fridays!

Our thriving, non-corporate dental practice in Anacortes, WA, is looking for a passionate and patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We offer a varied schedule.

Available schedule includes:

• Part-Time: Fridays 2 x Month
• Full - Time: Monday-Thursday - 7:30 am-5:30 pm
• Part - Time: Flexible Schedule available

$67 - $75 hourly

• Complete x-rays of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can quickly identify any tooth decay or other oral health issues
• Keep detailed records of each patient’s visit and update their health history
• Sterilize all dental equipment to make sure everything is properly cleaned
• Conduct initial screenings for patients to understand their oral health history
• Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily
• Look for signs of gum disease, infections, or cavities to ensure issues are caught early and can be treated

• Current CPR certification
• Has dental hygienist licensure in the state where the job is located
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
