Job Summary

This role is deadline-driven, with daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables. Our customers are primarily General Contractors (GCs), waterproofing/roofing contractors, and commercial facilities owners. Competitive salary commensurate with experience, a Bonus program, full benefit package including health insurance and 401k.

*This Role requires 30% Travel or more to oversee projects and corporate training as needed

*Hybrid Job – with 80% of time required in the office or onsite.

Duties & Functions

  • Document Management: Load Project documents into various systems
  • Thorough review of construction project documents, including specifications, drawings, and details.
  • Attend Scope Reviews, Pre-Con Meetings and Site Visits.
  • Develop Weekly Schedules, Budgets, Submittals, Shop Drawings, Purchase Orders
  • Communicate weekly with general contractors and other customers.
  • Collaborating with our estimator, sales team, and other staff, to enable successful transfer of the project from Estimating to Project Management upon close of the Sale
  • Complete monthly pay applications/invoicing
  • Lead weekly staff meetings with team
  • Manage Change Orders, RFI’s, RFPs, and Subcontractors
  • Manage risk by identifying potential problems early and implementing effective solutions
  • Schedule internal and external resources per the agreed upon project timeline.
  • Line out Field Supervisor and Teams – While projecting schedule and timelines of installation
  • Oversee all warranty and closeout information
  • All other duties as directed.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Standards

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering is desired.
  • *5+ Years of Experience in commercial construction project management.
  • 3 years of experience reviewing and amending contracts to favorable terms.
  • Proven successful ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Proven successful ability to meet daily project deadlines is required.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively see projects through to completion.
  • Strong communication skills, including good presentation skills.
  • Experience in MS Project, and Procore PM Software preferred.
