Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting the Center Store teams with daily activities to drive sales and achieve department and category objectives. Includes leading supporting all levels of the Center Store Grocery team on various daily activities to execute the business and support key initiatives. This role will also involve leading and coordinating category projects to achieve the overall goals and drive positive impact to the strategies of the Center Store team and broader business. It will utilize multiple tools and resources for trouble shooting and resolution.

Description of Work

• Support key promotional execution activities for both National and AWG Brands to ensure information is accurate and issues resolved prior to execution to the divisions and members
• A key resource for systems used to manage and execute the business including but not limited to AWG databases, DemandTec, SCM, PowerBi and other reporting platforms.
• Managing key reporting to maintain the integrity of data in AWG systems and ensure there are no gaps that result in downstream issues to the divisions, members and/or vendors as well as other key internal business teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms, find optimal solutions and execute through to resolution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead efforts to develop and implement solutions as they relate to various activities across the team.
• Partner with leadership and category managers to execute special product catalogs as needed
• Execute miscellaneous billing and rakes/store credit activities in support of the manager and directors.
• Coordinate and lead special projects as identified to drive business initiatives with internal and external partners including but not limited
• Key initial resource for leadership and category managers for tactical direction on executing business needs to accomplish desired results.
• Communicates and interacts with cross functional departments (e.g. Inventory Management, Accounting, AWG Brands, and divisional sales teams).
• Collaborate with external vendor partners as needed to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including, but not limited to, deal issue resolution, audit report findings, miscellaneous billings and promotional event troubleshooting and detail validation in AWG systems.
• Coordinate and support SOPs across the teams for use in training and reference for other business partners.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required
• Consumer Products Goods or related industry experience
• Proficiency Microsoft Office and G Suites
