Job Description
Contractors Choice, repair mechanic will provide unparalleled service as they help Contractors Choice serve its customers. Repair mechanic handles rental equipment, customer repairs, and company repairs.
Duties include
• Checking rental equipment when it is returned to see if it is in working condition.
• Repairing customer equipment in a timely matter
• Repairing company equipment
• keeping a record for parts used on repairs along with time spent
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Grinding and painting reconditioned equipment for inventory and orders
• Putting together equipment for orders and making sure everything is secure.
Job Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Commitment to safety in the workplace
• Attending manufacturer training schools
• Weekly trips to Cincinnati for training in the first three months
