Job Skills/Requirements

As you might expect maintenance, repairs, and services will be at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll

• Provide prompt and courteous service to all internal and external customer.
• Ensure all facility systems, floor equipmentand other items are performing at optimal levels by performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include: fixing major floor equipment down to routine vacuums, repairing doors, changing light bulbsand other building fixtures.
• Knowledge of minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Examples may include: fixing leaky faucets, replacing light switches or outlets, unclogging drains/toilets.
• Occasionally build furniture. Examples: carts, bookshelves, desk.
• Move and arrange desks, furniture and partitions when needed.
• Perform other related duties and activities as required.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance team members.
• Knowledge of general equipment repair.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Requirements

• 1 year of related experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, bend and kneel.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull.
• Withstand external weather conditions, such as working outside in the rain, cold, heat or other adverse weather as needed.
• Valid Driver's License
