Job Title: Student Experience Coordinator
Location: Remote
Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
Start Date: May 18, 2026
Compensation: $50,000 per annum
The Opportunity:
The Student Experience Coordinator acts as an onboarding champion for all remote students. They will mentor and guide remote students during the first month of their program and provide educational and non-educational remote activities through the students’ journey. The Student Experience Coordinator will inspire, motivate, and assist students.
The SEC will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity, and fostering inclusion.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and execute standardized student onboarding plans for remote students.
- Organize and conduct New Student Orientations.
- Plan and organize new student meet & greet with all employees.
- Contact any student who utilizes the Student Satisfaction Guarantee and report to the Campus Director any issues/concerns.
- Meet with all students one month into their program (or earlier if there is an issue). Review with each student how the program is going, if the College meeting their needs, determine if there is anything further they need, or see how something could be improved upon.
- Develop and standardize, with assistance from the Remote Education Director, Instructor schedules and remote classroom organization.
- Work with other departments to publish a monthly student events calendar.
- Planning and facilitating lunch-and-learning sessions for both prospective and active students.
What you bring to the position:
- 3+ years of operational and/or administrative experience in a comparable educational environment.
- Experience working with students who require accommodations.
- Post-secondary education in business or technology, university degree preferred.
- Knowledge of customer service issue resolution.
- Knowledge of career training vocations and programs.
- Recommends new policies when existing ones do not adequately cover the situation.
- Assesses external environmental factors that constitute a major element of influence.
- Exercises excellent judgement in problem solving since it requires balancing several sets of specialized or technical inputs against business plans or objectives that may extend beyond the current business cycle.
- CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certifications would be an asset.
