About This Position

The Outreach Coordinator (OC) plays a critical role in expanding partnerships with non-Catholic-Christian churches across the United States. This person will initiate meaningful conversations with pastors and church leaders, introduce them to the work of Unbound, and schedule discovery calls that may lead to deeper partnerships and church engagement.


This role is ideal for someone who loves initiating conversations, thrives with clear activity goals, and believes strongly in the mission of the Church to serve others globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Church Outreach

  • Initiate new relationships with pastors and church leaders nationwide through strategic outreach.
  • Create meaningful conversations that lead to partnership opportunities between Unbound and local churches.
  • KPIs

  • Conduct 20 follow-up calls with pastors or church staff.
  • Schedule a minimum of 1 discovery calls per week for the St. Director of Partnership & Engagement.
  • Support the scheduling of 2 church appeals per month.
  • Relationship Development

  • Research and identify churches that align with Unbound’s mission.
  • Build rapport with pastors and ministry leaders.
  • Introduce Unbound’s ministry in a respectful and pastor-centered way
  • Maintain professional follow-up communication
  • Ensure warm handoffs for discover calls and partnership discussions.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Track all outreach activity and conversations in CRM.
  • Maintain organized records of contacts and follow-up schedules.
  • Report weekly activity and pipeline progress.
  • Identify promising partnership opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business development, fund raising or related field. For-profit and Non-profit experience preferred. Global experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of direct hands-on experience in outreach, business development, ministry partnerships, fundraising, or sales.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Office Suite. OR Technology savvy required or experience using CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
  • Well developed self directed skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively manage and prioritize daily activities.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be open to new ideas with the ability to listen carefully, try new things, suggest alternatives, and solve challenges.
  • Self-starter, action oriented. Influential and collaborative communication style. Forward thinker and business savvy.
  • Able to quickly establish credibility and build rapport and respectful engagement with pastors across denominations.
  • Passion for supporting the mission of the Church and a personal commitment to the Christian faith.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English or other relevant languages is a plus.
