Finance Interns provide entry level support to the various groups within the CFO organization: Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Risk, etc. and work with a cross-section of projects. Students will gain an understanding of the corporate and strategic functions within that organization. Students are expected to have a basic understanding of finance concepts to help with recording transactions, cash management, ledger, account reconciliations, analyzing data, solving problems, budgeting, and forecasting. Minimum Education & Experience RequirementsUndergraduate and Graduate students enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university are eligible for DT Midstream’s Internship program. Students will no longer be eligible to hold an internship position upon graduation from their program unless the student has been accepted into another degree program. Graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to begin college in the fall are eligible to apply if they will be at least 18 years of age prior to their start date. A college acceptance letter must be provided.Students must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPACollege students will be asked to provide an official transcript as proof of eligibility prior to receiving an offer of employment. Other Requirements: Proficiency in computer applications applicable to specific work field/discipline including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Effective time management and a personal commitment to workPractice the corporate Service Keys of Safe, Caring, Efficient and Reliable Preferred Requirements: Coursework in finance preferredKnowledge of finance software packages such as Netsuite and/or equivalent
